If I were to mention the names Sabatti, Fausti or Flli Rizzini you would probably have no idea what I was talking about unless you had an interest in guns. They are just a few of the finest gun makers and gun trade craftsmen in the world. This weekend they were all brought together, many for the first time in this country to the gorgeous Ripley Castle. Steeped in history it was the perfect setting for the mainly Italian Gunmakers who gave fascinating live demonstrations of engraving, barrel making, stocking and woods to the hundreds of shooting enthusiasts. This along with the beautiful weather and the echoing sound of gunshots from the many game and clay pigeon shooters made it a day to remember. Oh! Just so you know… the only shooting I did was with my trusty Nikon D3 camera!
