Photographs taken in the comfort of your own home helps everyone (including pets) to feel more relaxed. A portrait session involves making an appointment for Suzanne to attend your home where she will take between 10 and 20 photographs. These can be as varied as a family group, individual shots and your family pet. The package price or session fee is the same whether one person or six people are involved, so why not have a few different combinations?

Photographs can be taken against a backdrop or by using your own surroundings, including your garden - weather permitting. Alternatively, you might wish to have the session take place at a nearby location such as a local wood or park. Brayton Barff and Hambleton Hough near Selby are two such places that Suzanne uses regularly. Once again this depends on the weather.

You will need to allow up to an hour and a half for the full session. Children need a five minute break here and there and often clients like to have a quick change of clothing (some photographs to be taken in casual wear and some more formal). There are no particular rules for dress, but Suzanne would advise against clothing with heavy logos, such as children's 'Thomas the Tank Engine' tops. These tend to distract from the subject. For more informal photographs, denim is always successful. if you have any enquiries regarding outfits she will be happy to advise.

A week to ten days after your session has taken place, an appointment is made for you to come to the office in Cliffe. It is here that you will see example frames, albums and folios, etc. and be able to make your choices from the photographs taken. Allow a further 10-14 days for your order to be completed. Re-prints can be ordered at any later date if required.

Suzanne works 7 days a week, but please note that evenings and weekends (especially Sundays) are the first to get booked up. Please note that preview photographs cannot be taken away from the office for viewing. Click the link below to view a selection of portrait photographs.
